Rooted in Southern Italian tradition, the Feast of the Seven Fishes (La Vigilia) began as a Christmas Eve ritual — seven exquisite seafood dishes honoring the season’s spirit of anticipation and togetherness. Now, that old-world celebration is being reimagined with an Appalachian twist, blending Italian heritage with the bounty and heart of our mountain home.
For one extraordinary evening, Capitol Market will transform into a glowing, intimate dining experience under twinkling string lights, the crisp mountain air mingling with laughter, fine wine, and holiday cheer.
